Lash Lifting FAQs

A lash lift is a low-maintenance alternative to lash extensions, this revolutionized-perming-your-lashes techniques brings a lot of conveniences to our life. Once you try it, you will be amazed by how subtle yet big changes it brings to your daily beauty routine and definitely will say goodbye to put on mascara every single morning and could sleep more or doing literally anything else you desired.

Today, we list all sorts of questions and comments we’ve been received in the past about LASHVIEW Lash Lift kit, hope these can help you to solve the problems and improve the service and performance while using this products.

1. What’s the difference between upgrade version and normal version?

The whole lash lift set between these two versions are basically the same, the only thing matters is the formula of lifting cream, neutralizing lotion and moisturizing serum from the upgrade version are much milder and sensitive skin friendly than those from the normal version kit.

2. How long will a lash lift last?

A Lash Lift can last 6-8 weeks but can be vary from person to person. There is no need for any maintenance appointments in between but you will need to have the process repeated every 6-8 weeks to lift the new hair growth. There are some situations that may cause the lift to weaken prematurely such as swimming, use off harsh products, or heat. If you find that your lift does not last the full 2 months, you can repeat the treatment after a minimum of 4 weeks of having the initial treatment, but not before.

3. How should i remove the solution at the very end of the lifting process?

The texture of this lash glue is quiet different than any normal glues, and since it can be removed by warm water, we recommend to use a wet cotton pad to remove the most of glue residue and use wet Q-tiqs to take care of details. In the end, you can use the dry one to help dry your clients’ lashes out.

4. How many lifts will our kit do?

10 times in total for one kit. However, we do offer lash glue included from the kit separately on sale at our store.

5. Is there any differences when do lash lifting on short, thinner lashes and long, thicker lashes?

Yes, for shorter and thinner lashes you can leave the three solutions on about 15-20mins, while for longer and thicker lashes can spend 20-25mins in total.

6. Will the Lash Lift damage my natural lashes?

No. Select a carefully trained and skilled professional lash technician to ensure proper lash lift procedures are followed.

7. Does tint included or is it possible toadd one during the treatment?

Tint is not offered in our lash lifting kit but yes, feel free to add one on your preference. Eyelash tint could be applied during the treatment to enhance the look and volume of your natural lashes.

8. How long does a lash lift take?

A lash lift can take anything from 45 minutes to an hour from beginning to end. Maybe a little longer if you decide to have your eyelashes tinted which will enhance the effect of your lash lift.

9. Will I have a reaction to the lotion?

Very few people have a reaction to the lotion but that doesn’t mean you won’t be one of them. What one person reacts to, another is fine with. This is why you can opt to have a patch test 24 hours beforehand. A patch test is quick and simple. It consists of us placing 2 drops of lotions behind the ear for 15 minutes. Wiping it off and waiting to see if any subsequent irritation occurs over the next 24 hours such as redness, itching, or inflammation for example.

10. Can I wear mascara or makeup after finish with it?

Yes, technically you can. But it is advised that you leave your lashes untouched for at least 24 hours after your treatment. You may find that there is no need for mascara anyway, but if you wish to make your lashes even fuller, a non-waterproof mascara is advised as the removal of waterproof mascaras can be harsh on the lashes and weaken the lift.

11. How do I know what size the customer needs on the lift pad?

It comes in different sizes and chooses the right size is important for the outcome of the lash lift, lashes should reach at least halfway up to the rod or all the way up to the rod according to how high up of a curl you'd like to achieve or your client's preference.

12. How often can I have a lash lift?

It lasts 6-8 weeks and your tint is going to last for about 3-4 weeks. The lashes should drop evenly and will not look out of place. You can repeat the treatment after a minimum of one month if you feel you need to, or you can wait until they are back to their natural state.
